Resume

Dr. Wu received his B.S.E. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from I-Shou University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1996. He received his M.B.A degree in Information Management from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Yunlin, Taiwan, in 1998. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan, in 2004. He is an full professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Pingtung University, Pingtung, Taiwan. The research interests of Dr. Wu include:

  • Design and Implementation of Mixed-Criticality Systems
  • Energy-efficient task scheduling and synchronization for real-time embedded systems
  • High performance resource scheduling and management for virtualization platforms
  • Embedded software design and optimization

He received the Best Paper Award from the IEEE International Conference on Embedded and Real-Time Computing Systems and Applications (RTCSA) in 2005. He received the Special Outstanding Talent Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019, received the Outstanding Teaching Award from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Pingtung University, in February 2014, received the Outstanding Mentor Award from National Pingtung University, in December 2014.Dr. Wu has been invited as a Visiting Researcher/Scholar to University of Pittsburgh (USA), University of York (UK), and Academia Sinica (Taiwan). Dr. Wu is a member of the IEEE. He was selected for inclusion in the Who's Who in the World since 2007.

吳博士於1996年取得高雄工學院(義守大學前身)資訊工程學士學位,其後投考進入國立雲林科技大學資訊管理技術研究所,在董少桓教授指導之下於1998年取得碩士學位,並旋即進入國立中正大學資訊工程研究所攻讀博士學位,在郭大維教授與薛智文教授指導之下於2004年取得博士學位。目前於國立屏東大學資訊工程學系擔任教授,他的研究興趣包含:

  • 混合關鍵性系統設計與實作
  • 即時與嵌入式系統之節能工作排程與同步
  • 虛擬平台之高效能資源排程與管理
  • 嵌入式軟體設計與最佳化

吳博士於2005年得到 IEEE RTCSA會議的最佳論文獎,並於2014, 2015, 2017, 2018與2019年獲得科技部特殊優秀人才獎勵,於2014年2月獲得國立屏東大學資訊工程學系教學優良教師,於2014年12月獲得國立屏東大學績優導師獎。吳博士為IEEE會員,並自2007年起,被收錄於世界名人錄。
